Volunteers at Leith Festival Gala Day 2026
On the 13th of June, the SS Explorer Preservation Society will join the Leith Community at Leith Links to celebrate the yearly Leith Festival Gala Day.
Leith Festival Gala Day is a much-loved highlight of the annual Leith Festival, bringing the community together on Leith Links for a vibrant celebration of summer, local culture, and creativity. Rooted in tradition since 1907 when the Gala and Pageant were first held to raise funds for Leith Hospital, the event has grown into a free, family-friendly day packed with live music, performances, fun activities, and plenty of stalls showcasing local makers, businesses, charities, and community organisations.
