By becoming a member and joining the crew, you support our restoration work and gain access to members-only tours, including parts of the ship that are not open on our standard tours.
Simply leave us your shipping address when signing up with the membership form, and tick the "write us a comment” section to let us know your preferred type (mens/womens) size and colour for any clothing items.

Why your support matters
The Explorer is a registered Scottish charity (SC023518). We rely on public donations, fundraising, and the time and commitment of our volunteers to keep our work going.
Although we apply to major funders to support preservation and restoration projects, we also need to cover essential day-to-day costs, including:
insurance
fuel
volunteer welfare and training
health and safety requirements
temporary facilities, such as portaloo hire, while there is no water supply at our berth
