Cruise Report 6th November 1967
The catches consisted almost entirely of cod (size range 20 to 100 cm), haddock (size range 12 to 80 cm) and redfish (size range 10 to 55 cm).

Cruise Report 3rd October 1967
At the end of the trip a call was made at Klakksvig and two disabled British seamen were taken on board for passage to Aberdeen, which was reached at 0900 hours on the 27th.

Explorer sailed from Greenock at 1300 hours on 4th September and after fuelling proceeded to Rockall Bank.

After three days, work with the mid-water trawl was concluded because of damage to the net, and the ship steamed to the shallower ground off St.Kilda.

Fishing began at a position to the northwest of Ireland on 21st June and the survey was continued northwards along the edge of the continental shelf
