John Dunn MBE

John Dunn MBE, a dedicated marine biologist, spent 49 years at the Aberdeen Marine Laboratory. He frequently sailed on the SS Explorer as a scientific officer, making him a key part of the ship's history. In recognition of his significant contributions to the fields of marine biology and education, he was awarded an MBE.
Mr. Dunn has also been named a Polar Ambassador to encourage young people to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
